For the money, you cann't go wrong. Left side slides out to fit a larger basket and basicly it just does a pretty good job. NOT made for heavy duty but not priced for it either. Plain and simple.
 Don't Buy This Shredder! December 30, 2008
I was totally disappointed with this product. I previously had a similar shredder that is no longer being made. It broke after about 7 years, but while I had it, it worked much better than this shredder, so I know that this basic type of shredder can be useful. As soon as I tried this, I found that almost every paper I put into it got jammed and I had to pull out the pieces of the last paper before I could continue with another one. Plus the strips are pretty wide and could possibly be taped back together if someone really wanted to. I immediately called Buying Partners to return it, and they gave me full credit. The company is great, and I recommend them for other products, but this product is not worth anything.
